Michelle Tuwiner

Michelle Tuwiner has homeschooled her children, Jacob (age 8) and
Ellie (age 4) using MPNL as her umbrella group for the last three
years.  Prior to homeschooling, Michelle practiced special education
law in Maryland and Washington, D.C., and was a special education
teacher in Maryland and Virginia.  She holds a J.D., M.Ed. in Special
Education, and a B.S. in Special Education, all from the University of
Maryland.

Michelle has enjoyed her homeschooling journey and embraces an
eclectic, child-centered style of homeschooling.  Michelle is pleased
to be provide support and legal oversight for families in Western
Maryland, and looks forward to an active 2008-09 school year.

In her spare time (what little of it there is), Michelle enjoys
writing, gardening, and fantasizing about the vacations she will take
when the children are finally grown some day and are no longer
homeschooled.
